I am the Lorax! I speak for the trees,
Which you seem to be chopping as fast as you please;
But I also speak for the brown Barbaloots,
Who frolicked and played in their Barbaloot suits,
Happily eating Truffula fruits.
Now, since you’ve chopped the trees to the ground
There’s not enough Truffula fruit to go ‘round!
And my poor Barbaloots are all feeling the crummies
Because they have gas, and no food, in their tummies.

Now all that was left ‘neath the bad-smelling sky
was my big empty factory…
the Lorax…
and I.
The Lorax said nothing
just gave me a glance.
Just gave me a very sad, sad backward glance.
He lifted himself by the seat of his pants
and I’ll never forget the grim look on his face
as he hoisted himself and took leave of this place
through a hole in the smog without leaving a trace
and all that the Lorax left here in this mess was a small pile of rocks with one word.

hanging in suspension is my heart,
unknown if its desires will ever be met,
love thats waiting to be unleashed but the permission has not been granted,
like telling a dog it cant bark,
my heart has been told it is not allowed to love.
so it waits, hanging in suspension,
wondering if its desires will ever be met,
because when its love is unleashed,
it will be something to see.

Boredom at its BEST!

So, Being a college student leads to many things, ranging from stupendous amounts of stress to ever present boredom. Many, of us college students, try to find ways to relieve said boredom by going to parties, consuming copious amounts of alcohol, or by doing a drug of some sort (weed, cigarettes, etc.). many also use social networking, video games, card games (Pokemon, Magic, etc.), Live Action Role Play (LARP), and many others…But have any of them ever fixed boredom on the long term? NOPE.

Wanna know why? Because like everyone else who has ever been born, we humans have a major flaw. We have an inability to be happy with one thing for a long period of time. Ok, we can be happy with one thing for a long period of time, but it has to change and evolve with the times and the trends of popularity with the individual. Adaptation is evident in human environments as well as in more primitive environments.

We just need to find something that makes good use of our time and find hobbies that we all excel at in order to repel the trappings of boredom…

There you go another random bit of information.

Weird things don’t happen often enough

So, today I went to chinese with some friends and then we hung out at walmart…while we were waiting for our ride back to campus…we were talking about drinking and just random topics…and I mentioned how most of the people in Hodge either drink or smoke or both…and this guy walks up to us and says “hey i take offense to that! i lived in Hodge!” And then he talks about his time at hodge where he wrote papers for one of his stoner friends…and his friends grade went from a D to a B in less than a semester, so the dude walked up to him and says “dude were gonna smoke this!” (His friend held up a bag that had a pound of weed in it)…

SO PRETTY MUCH WE MET A THIEL ALUM THAT LIVED IN HODGE HALL IN 1993 AND WAS TALKING TO US ABOUT HIS JAUNT IN COLLEGE….

Really? He was just randomly talking to us and then told us that we were all closer to the ages of his kids than him and he was just telling us this as if we were his best friends…and he didn’t even stop telling us this when campus police came to take us back to campus….

He told us to enjoy our time in college….to drink, smoke pot, have fun….whatever we wanted! And then get an education….IS THIS GUY FOR REAL?!?!?!

IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!

To my wonderful Fiance!

Jonathan,

You are the greatest person I have ever met! You are the one guy that always knows what to say to me. You are always there when I need you. You are my light in the darkness of this world around me. You have made me able to see the good in this world and have made me know that gentlemen still exist. You are my best friend and my greatest love. You have earned my trust and kept it safe. I love you more than anyone can ever imagine. No matter what is thrown our way, I know that our love will survive through anything. We may not have known each other as long as most people that fall in love and want to get married, but I know that we were meant for each other and there will never be a day that I will regret the choices that I have made around you. You bring out the best in me, and I know that I bring out the best in you.

I will always love you, until the day that I take my final breathe and beyond the grave into the heavens.

I love you so much, my honey bear!
